On Sunday afternoon, March 7th, the Coosa County Steer and Heifer Show will be hosted by the Coosa County FFA, Coosa County 4-H Club, and Farmers Federation! One of our students, JR Chapman, will be showing his market steer at this show. The show will be held at 3:00 PM at the Coosa County Cattlemen's Association facility on Hwy 231 in Hanover (just down from the school). Please see the flyer for more information. Cougar Varsity Boys Win 2A Region 8 Area Championship


The Cougar Varsity Boys Basketball Team recently defeated Fayetteville by a score of 70-35 in the Area Tournament . The Cougars then advanced to defeat the Vincent Yellow Jackets on Friday, February 12th, with a final score of 49-46, This win earned the Cougar Varsity Boys the title of 2A Region 8 Area Champions.
